Food is lovely, the portions are ample too and very competitively priced. Good to see a busy pub in the current climate
Very nice village pub. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Food very good, well presented sizeable portions.
Another family night out at the village inn. Fantastic home cooked food with huge portions. Great selection of drinks. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Large carpark so plenty of room. Definitely recommend a meal here. Lasagne was amazing. Special curry was chock full of meat and fish and chips so fresh.
Great food, homemade, tasty and very generous portions
Working away, we stayed in the air BNB owned by the landlord so I've eaten in here each night Mon-Thurs. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever regarding food. Hands down, the biggest piece of fish I have ever seen served both in a pub and a chippy. Cooked to perfection. Staff are extremely patient, helpful, knowledgeable about their menu and super efficient about their service. Nice range of lagers to enjoy throughout your visit. My only regret is I didn't take photos of the food. However, that's my reason to return!!
Moved to the village summer last year, this place is a wee gem. Great food, great prices, and lovely staff! ✨
Try the Roast Beef and the Homemade Steak Pie. For a lighter option, the Warm Goat's Cheese and Onion Tart makes a great starter.
